college group bio diesel project
College Group is located in nobber Co. Meath.
The bio diesel project in college group started in 2018 and lasted for just over 2 years.
This is one of only 3 in Ireland and can produce millions of litters of biofuel.
We covered all the pipework in this project, this included the main process building, the piping of over 30 tanks in the tank farm, steam pipework in the boiler house and duplex pipework to the reactor tanks.
the plant is now fully operational and is one of the most cutting edge and modern version in Ireland.
Murphys group
Pumps skids and and double contained pipework project.
we fabricated the mild steel frames and stainless steel sch10 manifolds and pipework fully complete in our workshop to cut down on site work to minimum. this left no welding on site and only a few parts to assembled on the day.
we also fabricated double contained pipework drains for below ground these where 6” sch10 pipes contained by an 8” sch10 pipe. This was made for a very corrosive acid and all pipework was made in 316 stainless to prevent corrosion. The pipes led into stainless steel chamber bunds where they could be isolated by valves. These were delivered to site fully complete leaving no site work need at all.
great northern distillery
great northern distillery is based in Dundalk Co.Louth.
This a project that started a few years ago and began to grow and continue with new projects happening as the Great Northern Distillery plant keeps expanding.
the current main project is a new malt distiller which is being constructed this year. we have fabricated a range of tanks for this project from small square spirit recovery tanks which hold on average 12000 litres to larger spirit holding tanks which hold an approximate volume of 35000 litres. which where all prefabricated in our workshop and delivered to site.
we also fabricated a large beer well tank, holding 185000 litres. this was 5.5 meters in diameter and 9 meters high and was built to the client’s specification due to limited room and hight restrictions. this was also built off site to reduce disruption to the working site and escort delivered to site at night-time due to it being an abnormal load.
we are covering all large variety of pipework on this project including carbon steam lines, stainless steel process pipework, cooling water lines and effluent pipework.
we are also covering stainless steel site fabrications e.g. platform, access ladders and have onsite maintenance crew subbed in constantly carrying out works.
